About the Project

The “Heritage in Our Hands” project is an educational initiative aimed at young people, designed to foster aesthetic sensitivity, shape social attitudes, and promote cultural heritage.

As part of the initiative, participants will have the opportunity to explore various forms of contemporary art and the work of diverse artists. The program includes art workshops during which youth will learn how to interpret artworks and develop creative thinking skills.

The project also highlights the social role of art, emphasizing its use in charitable activities. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on the impact of culture on society and to engage in initiatives for the common good. Discussions and artwork analysis will help build critical thinking and the ability to articulate personal opinions.

An additional aspect of the initiative is introducing the history of Wilanów—a place of exceptional importance to Polish heritage. By learning about its history and art, young people will gain a deeper understanding of cultural values and the role of art in shaping national identity.

The project not only enriches participants’ knowledge but also inspires them to take an active part in culture and social initiatives, showing that art can be not only a source of aesthetic experience but also a powerful tool for positive change.

The program is addressed to school youth, care institutions, and social welfare homes.
